THE WORLD OF BORDEAUX WINES
L’Intendant is located in Bordeaux’s famous “Triangle d’Or” (Golden Triangle), the historic heart of the city, behind the façade of an 18th century townhouse. Upon entering this wine shop founded by Duclot in 1989, wine enthusiasts will discover a circular 12-metre tower with a spiral staircase reaching up through five floors.
The 1,200 oak wine racks lining the walls of the tower contain over 1,600 labels. A library dedicated to Bordeaux wines.
Each step is magical, leading to rare wines, old vintages and large formats…
L’Intendant has been owned by Duclot, the Wine Merchant, since 1989. Duclot also owns Badie, an institution in Bordeaux, on the Allées Tourny.
